Analyzing ZywOo’s Setup CS2 2025

If you’re into CS2, chances are you’ve heard of ZywOo. The guy’s a freak of nature when it comes to aim and positioning. But behind all that skill is a setup tuned for high-level competition. I’m talking top-tier gear and dialed-in settings that leave no room for excuses. So here’s a full breakdown of ZywOo’s setup in 2025 — from mouse to monitor, and everything in between.
Keep in mind that this is just a fun little blog, not trying to convince you to follow ZywOo’s exact setup and settings. Obviously, what works for him may not work for you and your playstyle. I am just giving my opinion on what I think about the gear he’s using.
Quick Overview of ZywOo’s 2025 Gear:
- Mouse: Pulsar Xlite V3 es (Black)
- Keyboard: ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX
- Headset: HyperX Cloud III Wireless
- Mousepad: The Chosen Mousepad (ZywOo Signature)
- Monitor: ZOWIE XL2546K
ZywOo’s Gear Breakdown
Mouse – Pulsar Xlite V3 ES (Black)
This mouse is built for esports (hence the “ES” at the end). ZywOo uses the Pulsar Xlite V3 ES, which features the PAW3395 sensor and a comfortable ergonomic shape that’s perfect for right-handed players. ZywOo has always been an ergo guy who previously used the Vaxee Outset AX. At 65g, the Xlite V3 is a bit heavier than some of Pulsar’s other offerings, like their non-ES version, but this mouse takes on Zowie and Vaxee’s approach in making a mouse where all the essential settings, like DPI and lift-off distance can be adjusted directly from the mouse without the need for software. That’s all done on the mouse itself with a built-in OLED screen at the bottom to give you a visual representation when you adjust your settings. The optical switches make sure you never get accidental double-clicks, which can cost rounds in CS2.
That’s great for tournaments where software isn’t always allowed or convenient on the go. With the included 4K wireless dongle, ZywOo runs this mouse at 4000Hz for lowest input delay and smoother motion.
Keyboard – ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX
This isn’t your average 65% keyboard. ZywOo’s using the Falchion Ace HFX for its customizable magnetic hall-effect switches. These ROG HFX features linear switches that let him adjust actuation from 0.1 to 4.0mm. It allows him to set keys to trigger instantly, which is essential in fast-paced shooters like CS2, where movement mechanics like counter-strafing or peeking corners quickly matters a ton.
The Rapid Trigger feature on the ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX allows ZywOo to reset key input as soon as the switch starts coming up, which adds a serious edge in fast-paced fights. This keyboard supports 8000Hz polling, which makes it faster than most keyboards currently out there, even other hall-effect keyboards. It also includes a touch panel on the side for volume or other custom controls, and double USB-C ports on the left and right, giving you more flexibility on where you want to plug your keyboard with an extra port for other accessories.
Headset – HyperX Cloud III Wireless
Comfort is king when it comes to long hours of gaming. ZywOo currently uses the HyperX Cloud III Wireless in 2025 which is often praised as being one very comfortable even during long hours of play. That’s why everyone says it feels like “clouds” when you put them on your head. It’s got those memory foam ear cups with a leather finish, so it stays cozy even during marathon scrims.
The 53mm angled drivers give clear directional audio, without sounding too bass-heavy like the Razer BlackShark.
It runs on 2.4GHz wireless at low latency using a dongle, and it’s reliable. The mic is detachable, noise-canceling, and has a built-in pop filter, so comms stay clear when he communicates with his team during tournaments.
Mousepad – The Chosen Mousepad (ZywOo Signature)
This is ZywOo’s own signature pad, made in collaboration with Prodigy Agency. It’s a large 460x400mm mousepad with a smooth, high-speed cloth surface. I’m surprised he went for a mousepad more on the speedier side, but I guess that works well for him since he’s also playing on low sensitivity.
Monitor – ZOWIE XL2546K
Still a staple in the pro scene, ZywOo uses the ZOWIE XL2546K gaming monitor, which features a 24.5in TN panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and Zowie’s DyAc⁺ motion blur reduction technology.
ZywOo customizes the monitor settings too. He uses FPS 1 mode, DyAc⁺ on Premium, Black eQualizer set to 12, and Color Vibrance at 20.
ZywOo’s CS2 Settings
Resolution
1280×960 stretched – This setting stretches the player models slightly to make them appear wider. It’s a common practice and one that many pros in CS2 use to help make targets easier to hit. However, it’s not an advantage without a downside. While it makes targets appear larger, it also makes them appear to move faster, so you’ll need quicker reactions to keep up with their movements.
Sensitivity and DPI
ZywOo uses 400 DPI with 2.00 sensitivity, giving him an effective DPI (eDPI) of 800. That’s a balanced and safe sweet spot, especially for ZywOo as an AWPer. It’s not too low and not too high, but gives him smooth, controlled aim with the ability to flick quickly if needed.
Zoom Sensitivity
1.00 – As with most players, he keeps his scoped sensitivity consistent with his un-scoped aim.
Raw Input and Windows Settings
- Raw Input: Enabled – This bypasses Windows mouse settings and gives direct input to the game, avoiding acceleration or unwanted smoothing.
- Windows Sensitivity: 6/11 – The default middle-ground for raw input setups.
Video Settings
Everything is turned down to Low. That helps maximize frame rate and eliminate distracting visual clutter. The only exception might be Texture Detail at Medium for clarity on some maps.
Launch Options
-novid -tickrate 128 -allow_third_party_software
- novid – Skips the intro video when starting the game. Faster launch.
- tickrate 128 – Sets offline servers to 128 tick. Good for smoother offline practice or custom lobbies.
- allow_third_party_software – Lets approved third-party tools (like OBS or performance overlays) work properly with CS2.
Final Thoughts
ZywOo’s setup in 2025 is optimized for CS2 and most importantly, his playstyle. Every piece of equipment has been chosen for performance and reliability. His peripheral of choice, from mouse and keyboard, to the ZOWIE XL2546K monitor, and his signature pad are all viable choices in 2025.
Remember, this is just a fun little blog where I analyze ZywOo’s gaming gear and settings to see what keeps him at the top of the CS2 pro scene. It doesn’t mean that copying his exact gear and settings will work for you. Yes, you can take inspiration, but you have to ask yourself what’s going to work for you, specifically. Even having the best gaming peripheral isn’t going to carry you. It’s just a tool you can expect to be reliable and won’t hinder your performance in game. If you really want to improve, you still need to put in the practice and stay consistent.
